My thoughts on the Cyber Monday glossy box
So I caved and not only bought the Glossy Box Black Friday edition, I decided why not add the All I Want Box to my basket as well…oops!
I spent most of my leftover October pay on Black Friday gifts for other people. So even though I felt super proud of myself for resisting most of the deals, loving Glossybox as much as I do, I just couldn’t resist these limited edition boxes! Read on to discover my thoughts on the All I Want Glossy Box.
Unboxing the All I Want Box
Let’s start by talking about the insane amount of products you get your hands on for just £25 (£30 for non-subscribers.) It’s packed full of 11 Christmas must haves worth more than £140. I know right, it’s unbelievably good value for money.

Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Mousse – St Tropez
Glitter Lips in Ruby Slippers – BLVD

Glossybox All I Want first impressions: beauty products
My favourite product by far is the Master Series Palette One by Blank Canvas Cosmetics! I’ve been after a new palette with brown tones for a while. So I was so happy when I discovered the shades. I played around with it a little yesterday and I was super impressed with the quality and pigments. No doubt there’ll be an Instagram post very soon featuring a look I’ve created (There was very bad lighting from a v v grey day yesterday). The palette even came with a dual ended shadow and crease brush. And you can never have enough make up brushes, can you?
I was a little bit disappointed with the Lash Perfect Mascara. It claims to increase your lash density by 35% within 6 weeks. However, after first application, although my lashes looked enhanced slightly, they looked very very natural. Personally, I don’t think I could part with my beloved Better Than Sex for the full six weeks to test it.
The peel off polish is a brilliant idea! We all know how much of a nightmare glitter nail polish is to remove. But with this clever little product, you literally just peel the coat off when you’re bored of the shade. So handy for us indecisive girls!
I can’t wait to try the Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Mousse by St Tropez for my Christmas party. It claims it doesn’t transfer, there’s no smell and there’s no need to rinse either. This sounds way too good to be true! But I can’t wait to test it out.
I really wasn’t a fan of the Brow Powder by IT Cosmetics. It wasn’t exactly a powder…it was rock hard.! And the colour definitely wasn’t ‘universal’ like it claimed. This product is definitely more suited to blondes.
I’ve actually worked with Beauty BLVD before and already reviewed this exact product. You can read a full review here!
Glossybox first impressions: skincare
I’m quite impressed with the Perfecting Primer by Nude by Nature. It doesn’t seem packed full of chemicals or oil based like most primers I’ve tried. One of it’s main ingredients is actually green tea. So I’m intrigued to find out the effect green tea will have on my skin.
I’ve recently received a whole load of collagen products from the lovely people at Bioglen. So I was really intrigued when I saw the C+Collagen Brighten + Firm Serum by Dr Dennis Gross Skincare. I’m trying to force myself into a better skincare routine. So I’ll definitely be adding this product too, as it claims to reduce dullness, dark spots and wrinkles.
You can’t really go wrong with some Moroccan oil. So I can’t wait to give my tresses a boost and a shine!
Lastly, I really love the Saint and Sinner perfumes by Kat Von D. As you can probably imagine, Saint is a sweet day time fragrance, which I’d more than happily wear to the office. Whereas Sinner is a much sexier fragrance. Which I’ll no doubt be wearing for my next date night.
