MY WEIGHTLOSS WORKOUT

IT’S A NEW SEASON, SO TIME FOR A NEW WORKOUT ROUTINE?

So after having some time off in summer, lounging around and pretty much binging on every reality tv show going, I was feeling a bit meh about myself! A lack of gym routine (well basically any routine) didn’t have a great effect on my body or mind. Isn’t it weird how we’re such creatures of habit? But once September hit, I decided to hit the ground running with a new fitness routine!

I’ve created this workout after stealing bits from the Pure Gym website (if you’re a member, you really should check out their online workouts!) as well as combining it with techniques I’ve learnt from fitness influencers and PTs.

I set myself a target of a month to get back to my goal dress size, but I managed to do this in just two weeks! Check out my new routine below…

DAY 1

15 mins treadmill (incline/6km)
Both hip reduction
10 x glute bridge
15 x front lunge
15 x back lunge
20 x kettle bell swings
20 squats held for 10 seconds
50 x ab twists

DAY 2

10 mins treadmill (incline/6km)
5 mins step machine (level 6)
Both hip reduction
20 x stiff dead lift
10 x glute bridge
50 x ab twists

DAY 3

15 mins treadmill (incline/6km)
Both hip reductions
10 x glute bridge
15 x front lunge
15 x back lunge
20 x kettle bell swings
20 squats held for 10 seconds
50 x ab twists

DAY 4 – HIIT (REPEAT X5)

30 second mountain climbers
30 second jumping squats
30 second stiff dead lift
30 second plank knee to elbow
30 second kettle bell swings
Repeat x 5

Also both hip reductions
