Bondi Sands’ self-tanning foam: a review
Being from the north east of England, I am partial to a layer or two of fake-tan, especially in summer! Bondi Sands is a brand my friends always seem to rave about but personally have never used myself. I’ve worked with Skinny Tan before and was super impressed! However, at around £24 for a bottle of my favourite express mousse formula, it is a little on the pricey side! Read on to discover how this fake tan fairs with my beloved Skinny Tan…
Bondi Sands is all about the natural Austrailian tan, that you’d only normally be able to achieve from bronzing on Bondi Beach. Bondi’s salon quality formulas leave you with an even, naturally golden tan that hydrates and nourishes your skin. Which will mean you stay bronzed for longer.
I choose the Bondi’s Self-Tanning Foam, as the formula seemed similar to my previous go-to. Although Bondi Sand’s also have sprays, oils and lotion-based formulas.
The formula is enriched with Aloe Vera and has a lovely coconut smell. I love anything coconut, so me and Bondi were definitely off to a good start! I applied the Bondi Sands Self-Tanning Foam with a good quality mitt, taking special care of my knees, elbows, ankles, and hands.
The base tan applies streak-free, which I was really impressed about! It also dries super fast and doesn’t feel sticky. And I can confirm my white sheets are definitely still white this morning!
After washing my base tan off, I was left with a lovely non-patchy natural looking colour…think a one week holiday in Spain sort of colour! As I’ve only had the fake-tan roughly just over 12 hours, I’m not actually able to tell you how long it lasts. But keep an eye on my social media in the next couple of days, to discover how I’m getting on with the Self-Tanning Foam!
