Styling this season’s tricky items: white boots

Here’s a little style inspo for anyone experiencing fashion summer strugs

Have you ever thought, ‘Oh wow, I love this trend, but I can’t figure out how to style it‘? ‘Cause that’s literally me, all the time! I’d rather buy clothes that I feel good in, not items that even Kylie Jenner still probably feels awkward in!
I was chatting to someone at work today and I was like, I have no blogging niche! I’m fully aware I’ll always be a Topshop princess (sorry, had to put an A.M. reference in here) and forever loving Zara basics. So I’ve decided to put together a regular(ish) feature on how to style each season’s items that are a bit on the extra side, but for you gals out there like me who are also super basic. Read on to discover how I styled these Missguided white boots.

The fashion stugg

The problem with white boots is that they really cut your legs off! I’m only 5ft3 and unfortunately have really short legs. So for this reason, I pretty much avoid getting them out at all costs unless I have heels or knee-high boots on! So when styling these boots, I decided I needed a fitted dress to highlight the rest of my body and draw eyes away from my short legs.
I’m loving this Topshop denim dress. I thought it was perfect to give my look that cool 70’s vibe that’s so in right now. Plus I feel like it’s a great length for me! It’s perfect for layering up in chillier weather too, or rockin’ just the dress in summer temperatures. I upped the Spring vibe by styling it with a white baker boy. I’ve turned into a massive hat person this season…berets, caps, my other million baker boys, you name it, it’s probably in a pile on my bedroom floor right now.
The body is from Pretty Little Thing and it was an absolute steal, check out the prices below! I’ll never be able to get enough of the flute sleeves trend, (I was rocking it back two years ago) It always looks so cute styled with jeans and trainers for more of a laid-back vibe.
